Prostate cytamin — Khavinson-school organ peptide fraction, oral tablet

Longevity & BioregulatorsOral📊 Correlative data

Prostalamin (Prostate cytamin — Khavinson-school organ peptide fraction, oral tablet) is a longevity & bioregulators research compound. A Khavinson-school polypeptide fraction from animal prostate, 155mg per tablet. The mechanism claimed is gene-regulatory and gradual, which is a different kind of claim from either of the two drug classes that demonstrably act on this gland, and it predicts a different signature: slow change in tissue behavior rather than a fast change in urinary flow. Anything that improves quickly is arguing against the mechanism rather than for the product.

Coach Cam’s take

This is the cytamin with the best measuring instruments and the worst measurement record. PSA, the International Prostate Symptom Score, uroflow and post-void residual are all cheap, all validated, and none of the four has ever been reported for this product — a PubMed search for its name on 8 September 2026 returned zero records. New urinary symptoms in a man over 50 are a reason for a workup rather than a 40-day course, and that is the cost this product is most likely to impose.

What Prostalamin actually does

Of the seventeen organs on this shelf, the prostate is the one with the best measuring instruments and the worst measurement record. It has a blood marker ordered by the tens of millions (PSA), a validated symptom questionnaire that takes four minutes (IPSS), a flow measurement (uroflow) and a bedside ultrasound (post-void residual). Four ways to quantify what a prostate product claims to do, none of them expensive, and zero of them reported for this tablet in any published source.

The mechanism claim, stated as the school states it. Peptide fractions from an organ are argued to act on gene expression and cell differentiation in that same organ Khavinson 2021 Khavinson 2012, rather than by supplying a hormone or blocking an enzyme. For a prostate product that is a genuinely different claim from the two things that actually change prostate biology in clinical use — 5-alpha-reductase inhibition and alpha-blockade — and it predicts a different signature: a gradual change in tissue behavior rather than a fast change in urinary flow or a fast fall in PSA.

Prostate is also one of the few organs where the synthetic counterpart has actually been put on human cells. Meskhi 2004 examined the effect of the prostate peptide bioregulator on heterochromatin in human lymphocytes — a chromatin-decondensation readout, which is the physical measurement underlying the whole gene-expression argument. Note the cell type: lymphocytes, not prostate. That is the standard limitation of this literature and it belongs in the sentence rather than in a footnote.

The product. A 155 mg tablet of a nucleoprotein fraction from animal prostate, 40 per pack, listed by a partner at $42. No published composition, no assay, no source statement, no dissolution data.

Cell, rodent, human — and where it stops

The search, dated. PubTator3 for this product's name on 8 September 2026: zero records. The class word returns a single nutrition review about liver disease Tokaev 2007. Nothing has been published about the tablet.

The class search used the wrong spelling and is corrected here. Cytamines, the transliteration the Russian journals print, returns eleven records instead of one, four about the line: servicemen Khavinson 2001, athletes Emirova 2004, manufacturing Ryzhak 2003 and post-exercise recovery Rozhkova 2007. Two are in people. Corrected 9 September 2026, and stated plainly, because a page that understates its subject is wrong in the same way as one that overstates it.

What the correction buys this page, and what it does not. The 2004 athletics paper Emirova 2004 gave hepatamin, epifamin and suprenamin in combination with four other agents and scored exercise tolerance. No prostate tablet, no urinary endpoint, no prostate-specific antigen. The human rung of this product's chain is still empty, and it is now empty for a sharper reason: when somebody finally took this line into people, they chose three of the seventeen and this was not one of them.

The explant rung is unusually direct for this organ. Zakutskiĭ 2006 applied synthetic prostate, heart, lung and pancreas peptides to organotypic explants of the matching tissue from 3-week-old and 18-month-old rats and reported tissue-specific, age-dependent effects on explant growth. Prostate tissue was actually in the experiment, which is more than the thyroid page in this cohort can say. Ryzhak 2015 adds calf-derived Prostatilen to the same design at 0.01 to 100 ng/ml.

The human rung is a chromatin assay, not a clinical one. Meskhi 2004 is human cells in a dish. Khavinson 2001 is the general tissue-specificity claim in rat explants. There is no human trial of any prostate preparation in this school with a urinary or PSA endpoint that this page can point to.

And here is the specific break for this organ. Between the explant result and the tablet there are three unmeasured steps rather than one: survival of digestion, absorption across the gut, and delivery to a walnut-sized gland that receives a small share of cardiac output and sits behind no special uptake mechanism anybody has described. The prostate is not a privileged compartment like brain, and it is not a first-pass organ like liver. It is an ordinary peripheral tissue, and an ordinary peripheral tissue gets whatever the systemic concentration happens to be — a concentration nobody has measured after a dose of this product.

Prostalamin pharmacokinetics — how much of it actually gets in

What degrades it. Gastric acid, pepsin, pancreatic protease and brush-border peptidase hydrolysis, as for any swallowed protein fraction; no enteric coating is claimed and no analytical method for the preparation has been published, so nothing can be followed in plasma.

The oral barrier, and the honest comparison for this organ. The two drug classes that demonstrably act on the prostate are both small molecules with characterized oral bioavailability — a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor is a steroid-like molecule under 400 Da, an alpha-blocker likewise. Both cross the gut wall intact and both have measurable plasma concentrations. A 155 mg protein fraction shares none of those properties, and the comparison is worth making because it is the comparison a buyer is implicitly drawing when they put this tablet in the same category.

The arithmetic, and the step where it fails is not the one people assume. A 155 mg dose, at 1% intact absorption into 5 liters, gives roughly 310 ng/ml — above the 0.01-100 ng/ml explant band Ryzhak 2015. So systemic concentration is not obviously the obstacle. The obstacle is that a peripheral gland receiving ordinary arterial supply is not an explant sitting in a bath, and an explant experiment fixes a concentration for hours while a swallowed tablet produces a transient one. That difference is qualitative and no amount of dose arithmetic closes it.

The route comparison that exists here. Prostate peptide preparations in this family are also sold as an injection and as a rectal suppository, and a suppository is the interesting one: it delivers to the pelvic venous plexus and bypasses first-pass hepatic extraction, which is a real pharmacokinetic argument specific to this organ. Nobody has compared the tablet to the suppository to the injection on any endpoint, and there are zero such comparisons published for any product in this catalog.

What would have to be true, and how you would know it was not

Four predictions, and this is the cheapest cytamin to falsify.

1. PSA before and after a pack. One blood draw, standardized conditions, before the first tablet and 40 days later. PSA is not a measure of symptoms and it is not a measure of benefit — it is a measure of whether anything happened to prostate epithelium at all. Prediction: unchanged beyond assay and biological variation. If it moves, that is the first quantitative human signal this product has ever produced, in either direction.

2. IPSS, which is the endpoint that actually matters. The International Prostate Symptom Score is seven questions and a quality-of-life item, it is the primary endpoint in essentially every benign prostatic hyperplasia trial ever run, and it costs nothing. A change of 3 points is the usual threshold for a clinically meaningful difference. Score it before and after. Nobody has published a single IPSS from anybody taking this tablet.

3. Post-void residual, because it is the safety number. A bedside ultrasound, under five minutes, and it distinguishes improvement from the dangerous kind of stability: a man whose flow feels better while his bladder stops emptying is heading toward infection and, if severe, kidney damage. It appears in zero published reports on any product in this family.

4. Against the product: uroflow will not change. The mechanism claimed is gene-regulatory and gradual Khavinson 2012, not smooth-muscle relaxation, so there is no route by which peak flow rate should improve over 40 days. Prediction: it does not. If somebody's flow improves quickly, the likeliest explanations are fluid intake, an alpha-blocker they are also taking, or regression to the mean after a bad week — and all three are more probable than the tablet.

What nobody has tested yet

Nobody has run the easiest trial in this whole cohort. Thirty men, IPSS and PSA at baseline and at 40 days, half on the tablet and half on placebo. Every instrument is validated, the endpoint is standard, the population is easy to recruit and the product is $42. The reason this has not been done is not difficulty.

Nobody has compared the three routes. Tablet, suppository and injection all exist for prostate preparations in this family. A three-arm study on IPSS would produce the first route comparison ever published for a Khavinson product, and would answer whether the oral form is a convenience or a placebo.

Nobody has looked at the chromatin claim in the right cells. Meskhi 2004 measured heterochromatin decondensation in human lymphocytes. The same assay on human prostate epithelial cells is an ordinary experiment in a field with well-established cell lines, and it would test tissue specificity directly instead of assuming it. It has not been reported.

Extrapolation, labeled as such. If the effect is genuinely gene-regulatory and age-dependent, as the explant series reports Zakutskiĭ 2006, then three things should follow that nobody has looked for: the response should be larger in older men, which is testable by stratifying a single trial by decade; it should be absent after prostatectomy, which is a clean negative control that exists in the population; and it should be slower than an alpha-blocker and slower than a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, which means any fast improvement argues against the mechanism rather than for the product.

Prostalamin — its own safety story, not its class's

Three things specific to a prostate product, and the first is the one that costs time rather than health.

Urinary symptoms are a diagnostic opportunity and a supplement can waste it. New or worsening urinary frequency, hesitancy, nocturia or a weak stream in a man over 50 is the presentation of benign prostatic hyperplasia, of prostate cancer, and of several other things, and the workup is a PSA, a symptom score and an examination. A 40-day course taken instead of that workup is 40 days, and for the one diagnosis where time matters most it is the wrong 40 days. This is not a warning about the tablet's chemistry. It is a warning about what buying it can substitute for.

Blood in the urine or new bone pain ends the supplement conversation entirely. Visible or microscopic hematuria warrants imaging and cystoscopy; new axial bone pain in a man with an unevaluated prostate is a red flag with a short list behind it. Neither is a reason to finish a pack.

And the zero, with its cause. No adverse event has been published for this product because no study of it has been published — PubMed, 8 September 2026, nothing. Animal-tissue origin adds a sourcing question the synthetic prostate peptides on this site do not carry, and no vendor publishes a composition that would let anybody evaluate it.
